The characters on the right side of this page show the spot colours that we hold. Hover to see the Pantone equivalents.
Stencil printers print up to A3 size. Irregular sizes can go through the machine, as can envelopes and some folded sheets although we will usually need to test these items.
Riso do not make cyan or magenta ink so we do not print in CMYK. Instead, we replace these channels with spot colours such as red or blue when printing photos. We charge for separating photos or flat artwork that is to be produced in 4-colour process. We have invested a lot of time and expertise in this area and our Risograph photo reproductions are unrivalled.
Riso stencil printers only print on uncoated paper. We regularly test new papers and have a large selection of paper stocks. Contact us with your requirements and we will tell you the current options. We advise that you choose from the stocks that we have tested, although we will be happy to run tests if you require a specific type of paper.
We want our prints to look great and we're sure you do too. Everything can be discussed as every job is different; but here are the two Ditto Commandments:
1. No large areas of flat colour, i.e. whole pages covered in a single colour. This doesn't suit the stencil print process. It will look uneven and everyone will be sad.
2. We need at least a 10mm clear border on any A3 print.
As we price each job individually and do not have a price list, the best way to obtain a quote is to email us and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Feel free to call up between 9am and 6pm.
